Guide to the USGA handicapping system in Australian context Distance Measuring Devices
The WA Golf Association has reviewed its Distance Measuring Device policy and will now allow the use of GPS only devices in all Paxton Average and Stephen Leaney Stroke Average Events at the discretion of the host club.
The Association will continue to prohibit the use of Distance Measuring Devices in all State events including WAGA Pennants.
Furthermore the WA Golf Association is in favour of all clubs allowing the use of Measuring Devices in club events.
